5 Apps All Influencers Need

Hi guys! For this weeks blog post I went through my phone and decided to put together all the top apps that I use daily! These are the ones that help me create my Instagram feed, and they’re perfect for anyone, especially fellow bloggers and influencers.

1. Canva

How are all those bloggers and influencers making the cutest polaroid graphics and youtube thumbnails? The answer is Canva! This app is perfect for making the cutest Instagram stories. Not only that, but you can make fun graphics for other social media sites such as Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest, etc. The best part is that Canva is so creative but super easy to use, so you get high-end content without having to be a graphic design expert.

2. Unum

If you’re anything like me, you’re really picky when it comes to photos on your feed looking good next to each other. If the picture of my food has a dark wooden background and it’s cool-toned, but the picture of my outfit is on my white bedding and warm toned there’s no way I can post both those pictures back to back. That’s where Unum, an Instagram planning app, comes into play! I’m not sure what I did before this app, but this bad boy is great because you can plan out your Instagram feed and upload pictures without actually posting them. So next time you’re trying to figure out if your photos will flow together, put them all into Unum and rearrange until you get the perfect look.

3. Lightroom

I always thought Lightroom was too complicated for me to use, so I never gave it a try. That was a big mistake on my part because now out of all the apps on my phone, lightroom is my most used app. It’s perfect for editing the exposure, contrast, temperature, etc. of your picture, and honestly, after you spend some time playing around in the app, it’s really not that hard to use. You can also make presets and save your settings and easily copy and paste your settings onto all your pictures, which is helpful when you’re trying to have a cohesive feed. Tons of other bloggers actually make presets and sell them on their website or Etsy shops so you can buy pre-made ones as well. If you choose this option just make sure to edit the color and lighting for each picture since the preset does look different on each photo.

4. VSCO

If Lightroom is too intimidating for you, then VSCO is your next best bet. This app is great for beginners but still has some of the great benefits Lightroom offers. You have tons of premade filter options to choose from, and you can edit the lighting and temperature as well! I have been using this for many, many years, and it’s still one of my favorites.

5. AskLisa

I didn’t even know I needed this app until I found it, this is a life saver! If you’re like me, every other day you send ten pictures that look pretty much identical and make your friends pick which one you should post on the gram. Asklisa does just that! You upload the pictures you’re choosing from, and the app analyzes them and predicts which will perform better on Instagram. It also gives you a bunch of recommended hashtags to use that will help increase your engagement! This app is free however there are limitations such as the amount of times you can use it per day.
